About Oppizi

Oppizi helps businesses measure and scale offline marketing.

Our technology enables brands to launch, measure and optimise offline customer acquisition campaigns across Hand-to-Hand, Door-to-Door and Direct Mail, with the same level of accountability expected from digital marketing.

Today, we operate in more than 10 countries and partner with brands including Uber Eats, DoorDash, Deliveroo, DiDi and many more.

As we continue to invest in our commercial organisation, we've brought our Business Development team together to build a collaborative international hub. We're now looking for Business Development Manager to help grow one of our most strategic markets.

The role

This role combines two key responsibilities.

New Business

The majority of your time will be dedicated to generating new business. You'll own the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing.

Strategic Growth

You'll also work closely with the ANZ General Manager to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within strategic customer accounts, helping expand existing partnerships and uncover new commercial opportunities.

Beyond your own pipeline, you'll contribute to improving our sales playbook, messaging and AI-driven workflows by sharing what you learn from the market.

What success looks like

Within your first three to six months, you'll:

  • Build a consistent pipeline through outbound prospecting.
  • Manage opportunities confidently from first conversation to close.
  • Close your first new customers.
  • Adapt our messaging to the ANZ market.
  • Contribute ideas that improve how we sell.
  • Collaborate closely with the ANZ General Manager and the global Business Development team.
What you'll do
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting across multiple industries and customer segments.
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Conduct discovery meetings, product demonstrations and commercial negotiations.
  • Maintain an accurate CRM and healthy sales pipeline.
  • Work with Marketing and Operations to improve customer acquisition.
  • Support strategic account growth alongside the ANZ General Manager.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights to improve our go-to-market strategy.
  • Identify opportunities to improve messaging, sales processes and AI workflows.

RequirementsWhat we're looking forMust have:
  • Native English speaker.
  • Experience selling B2B solutions in a full-cycle sales role.
  • Proven outbound prospecting experience.
  • Experience managing opportunities from first meeting to close.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable using CRM platforms and modern sales technology.
  • Curious, proactive and comfortable working autonomously.
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to contribute beyond your own pipeline.
Nice to have:
  • Experience selling marketing, advertising or media solutions.
  • Understanding of the ANZ media buying ecosystem.
  • Experience working in a scale-up or international environment.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and outbound sales platforms.

Benefits
  • Financial Growth & Security: Competitive Base + Uncapped Commission: High-reward structure designed for high-performers.
  • Superannuation: 11.5% employer contribution (increasing to 12% by July 2026) paid directly to your fund.
  • Stock Options: Potential for equity or stock ownership, ensuring you share in the company’s long-term success. 1 Year Cliff
  • Hybrid Work Model: Work from our Sydney/Melbourne/Brisbane hub or your home office - we prioritise outcomes over "desk time."
  • Right to Disconnect: We respect your boundaries; no expectation of after-hours calls or emails unless it’s a true ANZ emergency.
  • Work from Anywhere: Occasional "remote weeks" allowing you to work from different locations across ANZ or globally.
  • Annual Leave: 4 weeks of Annual Leave, plus an extra "Birthday Leave" day and "Wellbeing Days" for mental health.
  • Volunteer Days: Two paid days per year to support a cause or charity you are passionate about.
