Position Overview 

We are looking for an experienced full-stack Python engineer to join our platform team focusing on artificial intelligence (AI)/ machine learning (ML) Platform (AMP). This team builds and maintains central components to fast track the development new ML/AI models such as model development studio, feature store, model serving, model observability.

The ideal candidate would have a background in building full-stack web applications including front-end frameworks, back-end frameworks, database integrations, cloud deployments. You will collaborate with other full-stack engineer, ML Ops engineers in the team to build end-to-end web applications to handle internal user workflows. As an important contributor to our engineering team, you will help shape the future of our AI/ML capabilities, delivering solutions that inspire value for our organization.

Responsibilities 

  • Front-end: Integrating with data portal with micro-front end architecture to add new widgets, forms, pages. Converting mock UI designs into implementations

  • Backend: Developing REST APIs for the user workflows which integrates with the front-end components using REST frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, Django

  • Database design: Define the database schema, migration scripts

  • Containerization: Building dockerized applications which can be deployed on different compute environments such as Kubernetes, ECS etc

  • Ownership: Taking end-to-end ownership at the feature level

  • Troubleshooting: Handling support requests from internal customers, troubleshooting the issues and timely communication

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across diverse teams, including MLOps engineers, full-stack engineers, DevOps, Product managers, software architects fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: Over 3-5 years of experience in software development and engineering, delivering production systems and services 

  • Ability to develop full-stack web applications owning components from front-end, backend, database integrations, cloud deployments with the mentorship from senior engineers

  • Prior knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Javascript

  • Ability to fluently translate the design into functional code in programming language (any one) Python, Golang 

  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems into manageable components 

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering teamwork and effective information exchange 

  • Desire learn new things and take new responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, containerisation, orchestration tools such as CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes 

  • Experience on Amazon AWS or Azure cloud

  • Exposure to UI component libraries such as mantine or equivalent.

  • Basic understanding of CSS, html
