The Fund Analyst is responsible for supporting the Fund Manager to ensure the integrity and effectiveness of fund analytics and reporting. The Fund Analyst develops and manages the fund models, conducting financial analysis, monitoring and reporting performance against the fund strategy and operating plan budget.
Sitting within the Mandates Business, this role will provide critical support to the Fund Manager and help to inform decision making through financial analysis and modelling.
Your duties will include (but are not limited to):
Provide financial analysis support to assist with developing the fund strategy, capital plan, assets operating plan, KPI’s and budget.
Provide analysis of Equity and Debt cash flows and Investor total return (IRR), including modelling of external debt financing.
Cascade the fund strategy and KPI's in order to ensure alignment with the asset strategies/plans.
Liaise with the Finance and Treasury teams to manage the Fund’s capital plan and Cash Flow on a monthly/quarterly basis.
Support the Asset Management team with the development of the asset strategy/plan (including leasing, major capex projects etc.) to ensure alignment with the fund strategy, operating plan, KPI’s and budget.
Manage the fund models, conducting financial analysis and monitoring and reporting performance against the fund strategy, capital plan, operating plan and budget.
Assists in preparing the quarterly fund/investor reports.
Prepares ad-hoc reports and presentations as requested by the Fund Manager.
Consulted on the internal and external valuation process for the fund and contributes to the data provisions.
The skills you’ll need:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Degree in Property Economics, Business or Real Estate.
Experience in, Debt/Equity cash flow analysis, performance calculations and valuation.
Experience in cash flow management, budgeting models, and analytical skills, with the ability to work with complex database and/or quantitative tools.
Specific knowledge of Forbury, MRI or other real estate property models is considered highly advantageous.
