The General Manage of Data is a senior leadership role responsible for driving Lendi Group’s data strategy, governance, and management. This position is critical in leveraging data to fuel business growth, foster innovation, and support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute Lendi Group’s data strategy aligned with business goals.
- Build and maintain data products that supports and drives the growth agenda of Lendi Group
- Oversee data analytics and data led initiatives, delivering actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Lead data governance, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Lead a high-performing x-functional data team, including engineers, analysts, and scientists.
- Drive data partnerships that supports our build of new products and propositions, increase enterprising value
- Foster a data-driven culture, enhancing literacy and engagement across all functions.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in Product, Technology, Growth Distribution, Finance, and more to align data initiatives.
- Manage data ecosystem and work closely with technology on data architecture to ensure our platform is fit for today and tomorrow as our business evolves and scales
- Provide the data foundations to drive innovation through AI, ensuring ethical and strategic implementation.
- Extensive experience in data leadership with a track record of delivering successful data initiatives.
- Expertise in data strategy, governance, and compliance.
- Proven track record building data products that power experiences and business growth
- Strong knowledge of data technologies (databases, data lakes, visualisation tools, AI/ML).
- Proven track record building data partnerships.
- Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven experience in change management and fostering a data-first culture.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate data into business impact.
