About Eucalyptus

We’re making good health last a lifetime.

Eucalyptus (or 'Euc' for short) is an Australian-founded digital healthcare company on a mission to solve the world’s biggest healthcare challenges—think fertility and behavioural change around chronic conditions such as weight loss, diabetes, and mental health.

What we have achieved so far

🚀 Launched 5 demographically tailored brands and facilitated over 1 million medical consultations worldwide (Juniper, Pilot, Kin, Software, & Compound).

🌍 Built a team of approaching 500 Eucalypts in 6 countries (🇦🇺🇬🇧🇩🇪🇯🇵🇵🇭🇿🇦) consisting of medical practitioners, engineers, operators and many more functions!

💰 Raised over US$100M funding from the same investors who backed Canva, Uber, and AirBnB.

🇬🇧 In just over 2 years we have grown the Juniper UK brand, which is now our biggest brand globally!… and we’re just getting started! Read more about our mission to change healthcare here.

What’s Next?

Our next phase is defined by strategic growth and innovation. We’re continuing to grow our world-class team, attracting the brightest minds in technology and healthcare. Combined with substantial investment in our technology, we're focused on making a tangible difference through transformative healthcare solutions that improve the lives of millions across the globe.

About the Role

We’re seeking a General Manager to lead Australia's most recognised digital health brand Pilot, with full autonomy and P&L responsibility. For 6 years, Pilot has helped Aussie men tackle the trickiest health problems like sexual health, hair loss, and obesity. To date, Pilot is a high-8-figure business that is profitable, scaling fast, and poised for its next phase of growth — and you’ll be the one to take it there.

What You’ll Be Doing

As General Manager, you’ll be responsible for Pilot’s profitable growth in 2025 and beyond.

You’ll own the P&L for Pilot - meaning you’ll have full responsibility for its success, autonomy over its strategy, and agency over the resources you need to succeed.

You’ll lead a ~20-strong squad across marketing, operations, product, and analytics. You’ll also shape the unique culture of the Pilot team to drive high performance, accountability, and ultimately impact for our patients.

Key challenges you’ll face in the role include:

  • Improving access to our treatments by driving profitable growth, in the face of capable competitors and a challenging marketing environment for digital health
  • Driving cross-selling between conditions, so we can help our patients across more of their healthcare needs
  • Product innovation to improve health outcomes and drive retention
  • Constantly improving our patient experience while we scale fast

You’ll report directly to the COO and work closely with peers leading Eucalyptus’ other brands in Australia and across the globe.

This role will be based in Sydney and will be on hybrid work setup, with an expectation of three days in the office per week.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Achieve best-in-class health and safety outcomes for your patients
  • Own the brand vision and commercial strategy for Pilot
  • Set ambitious OKRs, write clear roadmaps, and prioritise effectively across the squad
  • Hit ambitious P&L targets with focused execution
  • Manage and grow a high-performing cross-functional team, building a unique Pilot culture within Eucalyptus
  • Allocate your budget of people and dollars to the most impactful initiatives to grow the business

About You (Who We’re Looking For)

Skills and experience

  • 10+ years of experience, ideally with a mix of startup, D2C, and professional services or consumer tech background
  • Proven P&L ownership and experience driving growth in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Skilled in setting ambitious goals, writing OKRs, leading sprints, setting roadmaps, and making tough tradeoffs
  • Experience unlocking growth via new channels, funnel conversion, and customer retention
  • Data-driven and commercially minded
  • Exceptional leader of high-performing teams

Behaviours & Attitudes

  • You act like an owner and lead with humility
  • You energise and align those around you
  • You get a kick out of solving tough problems quickly
  • You hold yourself and others to the highest bar
  • You’re deeply curious and never satisfied with "good enough"
  • You’re resilient, adaptable, and unafraid of ambiguity

 Why Join Euc?

Our teams are incredibly passionate - Our talent bar is high and our work ethic is strong. You’ll get to stretch yourself everyday and work amongst people who care deeply about our patients. You’ll be given autonomy to tackle interesting problems and receive regular feedback from a supportive team.

We move at incredible speed - You’ll work with team mates who build in the open by sharing their work freely, this helps us learn and iterate quickly so we can deliver high quality outcomes faster than our competitors. You’ll spend a lot of time outside of your comfort zone learning and iterating frequently, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

We will invest in your career - You’ll get access to an annual professional development budget, mentors and buddies to ensure that you have the support you need to level up. You can expect regular performance and pay reviews as your career grows.

We are all owners - You’ll be given equity to ensure that you can benefit from the upside of your contribution to helping Euc grow. Your ideas will be valued regardless of your role. You will have ownership over the projects you work on, which will feel both terrifying and extremely fulfilling.

We play as hard as we work - From our annual Eucalympics (Olympic-themed decathlon), free 3x weekly barista coffees, funded social clubs, quarterly rooftop parties and weekly catered fireside chats, we know how to let our hair down!

We’ll have your back when you need us the most - You’ll be able to lean on a range of leave offerings to support you when needed, this includes: personal health and professional development leave, a generous parental leave that offers 20 weeks paid leave for a primary carer, additional miscarriage leave (see more on Kin Fertility’s #WeNeedMoreLeave campaign), as well as our Employee Assistance Programme.

At Eucalyptus, we value individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we embrace the unique qualities each person brings. When you apply, please let us know of any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process.
