As a software engineer, these are some of the technologies and challenges you’ll encounter:
- Build and enhance high-performing applications using languages like Java and Python
- Develop and deploy scalable solutions on the cloud
- Work with tools like Apache Kafka, Spark, and Hadoop to process large-scale data streams and derive insights
- Build secure, efficient RESTful APIs and microservices for seamless system integration
- Optimize deployment pipelines with Jenkins, Gitlab, and Terraform to support continuous integration and delivery
- Partner with security teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and maintain robust defenses
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of relevant prior work experience
- Expert proficiency in programming in a language such as Java, Python, or C++
- Hands-on experience with databases (i.e. PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle) and writing efficient, optimized queries
- Familiarity with distributed systems, messaging platforms, and cloud platforms
- Responsive web development, with professional React/Angular/Redux experience and advanced JavaScript proficiency
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Team player with positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to self-direct, analyze and evaluate and form independent judgments
- Ability to effectively interact and build relationships with senior management and global stakeholders
- Commercially savvy with ability to exercise discretion with respect to confidential/sensitive information
- Integrity, ethical standards and sound judgment
