The primary focus as an Analyst in Global Custody Asset Servicing and Proxy Support is managing the entire lifecycle of the corporate action event from event announcement, instruction reconciliation, until the completion. You are responsible to ensure that the client votes on proxy events are accurately recorded in market through the oversight process. Global Custody Asset Servicing and Proxy Support is an operation team set up in Hong Kong that process all types of corporate action events in APAC market. This team is also responsible to perform the oversight and governance for Proxy voting services to our client.
This role provides the platform to interact with other global partners like the middle office teams, client service managers, product partners, and other regional processing teams in the LOB on daily operational matters including monitoring, analyzing, and advocating continuous improvement of the service delivery relationship between JPM and the client by leveraging various systems and digital tools across the organization. You will work with, and manage through, other operational areas both locally and globally to ensure provision of timely and efficient level of issues resolution.

Job responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of Controls, Checks, Instructions, and Queries on a daily basis.
- Review and, where necessary, update existing processes or procedures to minimize risk and improve the operational environment.
- Reconcile, validate votes from Proxy vendors.
- Responsible for adherence to all departmental procedures, policies, checkpoints, and controls.
- Proactive follow up on any client's queries / escalations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Financial Services background is not essential, but with Custody or Investment Bank Asset Servicing experience (Income / Corporate Actions / Proxy Voting)
- Proven experience in driving various process enhancements and digital tools initiatives globally and regionally
- Maintain high attention to detail with risk associated to the process
- Experience of communicating both oral and written to management, clients and colleagues
- Flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work and comfortable to deal with pressure and fast-paced environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Prior experience in custodian services / settlement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skill to both external and internal stakeholders
