Job purpose

The Global Brand Manager is responsible for developing and executing the brand strategy for their assigned products or services. This includes managing the brand identity, developing, and managing the brand guidelines, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure that the brand is being properly represented across all touchpoints. This role will also work with advertising and marketing agencies to develop creative content that is on-brand and aligned with the overall marketing strategy. The Global Brand Manager also tracks and analyzes brand performance metrics to ensure that the brand is meeting its objectives. In addition, this role will also be responsible for the co-ordination of strategic and internal events

Key Responsibilities

  • Build brand awareness and increase brand value
  • Developing design ideas & specific design elements
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives and monitor and report against set KPI’s
  • Develop and maintain brand guidelines in line with overall brand strategy
  • Coming up with visual strategies to produce new brand & marketing activities
  • Oversee the production of all assets to promote the brand
  • Ensure that messaging and marketing activities are aligned with the brand and overall company values
  • Collaborate with agencies and internal teams to deliver high quality output on time and on budget
  • Work with a team of event planners and coordinators to ensure that all aspects of the strategic events are taken care of, including budgeting, logistics, and marketing.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, or related field 
  • 8+ years of experience in developing brand and marketing initiatives 
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • Strong working knowledge of online and offline design, brand strategy development & execution, and the creative process 
  • Highly organized and performs well under pressure 
  • Project management skills, able to be proactive and commercially focused when delivering to financial and time-based objectives
