In this role you will:
As a Merchant Call Center Sales Specialist, you'll act as a trusted advisor to business customers by:
- Selling a full suite of electronic payment solutions, including Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, ecommerce gateways, and mobile payment tools
- Engaging pre-qualified inbound leads across multiple channels as well as warm outbound calls
- Assessing business needs and delivering customized merchant services proposals
- Educating customers on payment security, fraud prevention, and compliance
- Managing the customer journey from first conversation through application, onboarding, and activation
- Partnering with internal Wells Fargo teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience
- Supporting inbound customer and prospect calls in the Merchant Services Call Center
- Assisting with account setup across multiple platforms for a variety of industries
- Navigating multiple systems to resolve inquiries related to funding, billing, interchange, and payment operations
- Consistently meeting sales goals, service metrics, and performance expectations
- 2+ years of Merchant Services or Contact Center Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience in call center sales, financial services, or product/service-based sales
- Merchant Services or payments industry experience
- Outbound sales or pipeline management experience
- Bilingual Spanish skills are a strong plus
- Experience supporting inbound customer service calls
- Knowledge of financial document processing, regulatory disclosures, and compliance
- Strong problem-solving and consultative needs-assessment skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort navigating multiple systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office
- A track record of meeting sales targets, KPIs, deadlines, and production goals
- Schedule between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST, Monday-Friday
- Hybrid work model: Remote Monday & Friday; in-office Tuesday-Thursday
