About the Role
In this role, you’ll take a lead position in shaping how ASX Technical Services engages the market. You’ll listen deeply to customers, collaborate cross-functionally, and turn complex, often bespoke requirements into clear, repeatable, and well-positioned offerings.
You’ll help define and articulate value propositions, support go-to-market efforts, and ensure internal alignment across sales, product, delivery, and legal teams. Whether designing a new solution architecture, refining onboarding processes, or shaping product messaging and positioning — your work will directly impact how our infrastructure and connectivity products succeed in the market.
About the Team
ASX Technical Services is building an ecosystem of high-performance infrastructure and connectivity solutions that power Australia’s financial markets. Within ASX Technology & Data, our team leads the development and commercialisation of these offerings — combining product development, customer engagement, and scalable delivery.
We move fast, collaborate deeply, and think commercially. This is a high-growth business with a broad product portfolio and hundreds of institutional customers across capital markets, trading, clearing, and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Design and document end-to-end solution architectures across ASX’s connectivity and infrastructure offerings.
- Translate customer insight into market-ready offerings — working with product, sales, and delivery to define clear value propositions, feature sets, and onboarding paths.
- Support go-to-market execution by shaping messaging, solution positioning, and commercial readiness documentation.
- Act as a product storyteller, helping internal stakeholders and customers alike understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’ behind our solutions.
- Create scalable assets — playbooks, templates, guides — that support repeatable delivery and strong customer experiences.
- Bridge cross-functional teams, ensuring shared understanding and alignment between product strategy, customer need, commercial viability, and operational feasibility.
- Contribute to product development from early-stage scoping through to launch, helping refine both the what and how of our solutions
What You’ll Bring
Must Have:
- Structured problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complexity and communicate clearly.
- Demonstrated experience customer insight gathering, value proposition development, positioning, or commercial enablement.
- Strong technical knowledge of infrastructure, connectivity, and cloud services — and how they are packaged, scoped, and delivered.
- Commercial acumen — ability to align customer needs with business strategy and delivery constraints.
- Proven experience working across functions — particularly sales, legal, delivery, and product — to align on outcomes.
- Experience creating product playbooks, customer journeys, or onboarding templates.
- Ability to write clearly and persuasively — crafting solution documents, customer-facing materials, and internal enablement content.
Nice to Have:
- Experience working in or around legal/commercial contracting processes.
- Background in financial services, capital markets, or other high-performance tech environments.
- A mindset for continuous improvement, process refinement, and repeatability at scale.
