The Opportunity

As the Government and Industry Relations Manager at Dexus, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how the organisation engages with government and industry to support our strategic objectives. • Supporting industry engagement through events, briefings, executive reporting and external communications, including LinkedIn content and Executive Committee updates.

About You

You are an experienced government relations professional who thrives on building influential relationships and creating meaningful partnerships. With a strong understanding of government processes and industry dynamics, you bring a strategic mindset, sound judgement and credibility when engaging at senior levels. You are confident operating autonomously while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to deliver outcomes that support long‑term business objectives.

You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, government relations, planning or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience across government and/or in-house government relations, with a strong understanding of government, policy and regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective stakeholder engagement and advocacy strategies.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with government officials, political offices and industry leaders.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the discretion, attention to detail and professionalism required to manage sensitive information and competing priorities.
