We have a full-time permanent opportunity for GP Sales Representative in our Respiratory and Inhaled (R&I) team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high preforming, inclusive and diverse team with excellent leadership.

This position will cover the North West and North East, including suburbs such as Coburg, Essendon, Lalor and Craigieburn and surrounds, with country travel to Maryborough and Castlemaine for a few nights every four weeks. Ideally, we are looking for an experienced pharmaceutical sales representative.

The Role – What You’ll Do

In this role, you’ll collaborate with General Practitioners and Primary Health Care providers to connect innovative treatments with patient care. You’ll play a vital role in educating healthcare professionals, supporting medical advancements, and driving improved health outcomes in your community. As a GP Sales Representative you will:

  • Build strong partnerships with General Practitioners, Retail Pharmacies, and allied health professionals.

  • Engage healthcare professionals in conversations about approved medicines, efficacy, and safety.

  • Own the development and execution of a local sales strategy in collaboration with your team mates to meet or exceed sales targets in your territory.

  • Use data insights to better understand customer needs and tailor your approach.

  • Successfully complete all product training and obtain your Medicines Australia (MA) qualification (if you don't already have this).

  • Drive performance while maintaining compliance with the MA Code of Conduct.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification)

  • Prior sales experience and/or healthcare background

  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to plan strategically and achieve strong business results

Desirable:

  • Experience working with digital tools and data to optimise sales

  • Knowledge of therapeutic areas, healthcare systems, and the pharmaceutical environment (Medicines Australia qualification an advantage)
