Tasks and Qualifications:

WHY YOU WILL BE EXCITED ABOUT THIS ROLE

Because this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated recent Graduate to join our passionate AGV team in Belrose, (Sydney’s Northern Beaches).  As an AGV Graduate Engineer, you will participate in the deployment, issue resolution and customer service of AGV systems.  This includes design, documentation, testing, commissioning and training with special emphasis on customer service and site commissioning ensuring customer satisfaction at all levels.

Work with technical experts and gain valuable experience, with Global leaders of AGV solutions.

This role is located in the Belrose head office (on Sydney’s Northern Beaches), with the flexibility of WFH and the office once the initial training has been completed, and there will also be a requirement to travel to various sites throughout Sydney.  As  part of the onboarding process, you will also have the opportunity to experience the AGV firsthand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Preparing hardware designs for AGV PLC systems

  • Assisting senior engineers with costing, scheduling and ordering hardware/equipment

  • Assist with preparation of upgrades and installation specifications

  • System upgrades and configuration of computer hardware

  • Testing and integration of AGV and PLC systems

  • Commissioning of AGVs on-site

  • Providing phone, email and face-to-face support to customers

  • Assisting with training of operators, maintainers and technicians

ABOUT YOU

  • Engineering degree – Electrical or Mechatronics / Robotics / Industrial Automation

  • Recent Graduate

  • Experience in electrical design and installation

  • Knowledge of configuration, programming and commissioning of AGV PLC’s (desirable)

  • Technical Writing (desirable)

  • Knowledge of PC and basic programming

  • Ability to be flexible and resourceful in the face of challenging situations

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work within a team environment

  • Hunger with the ability to learn
