The Role
Our industry leading Dams and Hydropower business is currently seeking a recent Graduate Civil Engineer to join our high-performing team based in North Sydney for immediate start. This role will provide the opportunity to be mentored by some of the industry’s most respected professionals and exposure to the most exciting and complex Dams & Hydropower projects across the ANZ.
You can expect to be assisting in the design of major new dams and hydropower projects, potential site roles on new dams and dam safety upgrades, dam safety reviews, dam surveillance inspections and various other dam and hydropower investigation projects.
Supported by Senior Engineers, you will contribute to the delivery of projects including;
- Carrying out detailed design work and documentation under supervision
- Liaising with supervisors, draftspersons and other specialists on issues relating to the designated tasks and delivery of work on packages and projects
- Assisting in preparation of specifications, proposals and other documents under supervision.
- Being part of a dynamic, innovative and technically progressive D&H team with a fantastic team culture and supportive colleagues.
About You
Suitable applications will have/be;
- Enthusiasm for a career in Dams & Hydropower, underpinned by a knowledge and understanding of our sector and work
- Civil Engineering Graduate with a high academic performance
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Appreciation of the technical, commercial, financial, and marketing aspects of engineering;
- Developed knowledge in analytical methods, tools and principles;
