About the role:
Position Summary
As a Graduate in Risk Advisory Services (IA) at RSM Australia, you will work alongside experienced professionals to help clients identify, assess, and manage risks that impact their business from a strategic, operational and technical perspective. You will gain exposure to diverse industries and develop expertise in governance, compliance, and assurance while contributing to projects that enhance organisational resilience and performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in planning and executing risk assessments and internal audits across various sectors.
- Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in preparing clear, concise reports and recommendations for clients.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality engagement.
- Participate in client meetings and contribute to internal presentations.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Work towards professional accreditation (e.g., CA or CIA) with full organisational support.
About you:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Essential
- Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in risk, governance, and assurance.
- Eligibility to undertake professional qualifications such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
Desired
- Secondary or double degree if relevant
DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:
Essential
- Knowledge of accounting, audit, risk management, or related fields.
- Exposure to financial analysis, compliance, or governance projects (e.g., university projects, case competitions).
- Participation in team-based projects demonstrating collaboration and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with professional standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO, COSO, or auditing standards) is advantageous.
- Ability and willingness to learn & develop
