Are you a gamer and wish you could combine your long hours playing video games with your maths degree? If so, we want to work with you to become one of the best Game Designers in the business. Lightning Box is a leading developer of slot games for the Online Casino markets across Europe, USA and Canadian markets. If you have completed, or are about to complete, a Math’s or Statistics degree and have a penchant for game mechanics, then this is the job for you. And if you are into slots, that’s a double bonus.
Lightning Box is highly regarded in the casino games industry and this role represents an exciting opportunity to get into an extremely sought-after graduate mathematician/Game Designer role.
Responsibilities:
As part of our production team your main responsibilities will include:
Develop formulas for new and interesting features.
Turn spreadsheets and statistics into great games.
Writing software to create working game prototypes.
Prepare submission documentation and QA games for highly regulated jurisdictions.
Work alongside artists and programmers developing the latest in slot games.
Have a unique opportunity to work in Online gaming vertical.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or Statistics or due to complete this year.
What you Bring to the Role:
Top notch Math and programming Skills.
Proficient with Microsoft excel.
A self-motivated team player in a highly dynamic environment.
Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: C, C++, C# or Python.
Passion for problem solving and complex mathematics.
Excellent organizational and communicational skills.
Interest in the slots & the casino gaming industry is a distinct advantage.
