Lead Project Engineer & Team Leader__

Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards. You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions project execution team based in Moorebank, NSW.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Performing standard computations, analysis, and basic design tasks.
Exercising judgment on limited details of work and on application of standard methods and preparing project documentation within your scope of deliverables.
Assisting customers on technical issues and interacting with official contacts, contractors, and other staff within your scope of deliverables.
Supporting in communication pertaining to specific assignments or meetings.
Participating in workshops related to engineering design, tools, and processes.
Qualifications for the role
You have up to 2 years of experience in project engineering.
Minimum Bachelor of Engineering, specialising in Electrical/Mechatronics.
Knowledge of MV switchgear, protection relays (selection, application and/or configuration), digital solutions, communications is desirable.
Excellent communication skills & demonstrated negotiation skills are essential.
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook is mandatory.
Experience with MS Project and Some knowledge of SAP operation is preferred.
Teamwork & collaboration - actively demonstrate teamwork & facilitate collaboration.
Customer & market orientation - anticipate and addresses evolving customer & market needs and build close and sustainable customer relationships.
