An exciting opportunity to be part of the wider Perpetual Wealth Management’s Community and Social Investments team, the Grant and Operations Manager delivers exceptional service to philanthropic clients. This pivotal role combines oversight of grant programs with hands-on operational management, ensuring that all philanthropic initiatives are impactful, compliant, and aligned with Perpetual’s values and objectives.
About the Role
Join our dynamic team at Perpetual Wealth Management! As a Grants and Operations Manager, you will:
Oversee the full lifecycle of specific grant programs, from application and due diligence to disbursement, monitoring, and reporting
Administer awards and scholarships for philanthropic trusts, including managing relationships with external service providers and sourcing new providers as required
Take responsibility for the management of key philanthropic trusts, such as the Miles Franklin Literary Award and Ramaciotti Biomedical Research Awards
Key relationship manger for Perpetual’s grant platform to ensure efficient grant administration
Manage budgets, financial tracking, and reporting for philanthropic programs
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements
Update policies and processes, and resolve issues arising from compliance, programs, and audits
Provide outstanding service to clients and external stakeholders
About You
We’re looking for someone with:
Minimum 5 years’ experience in grantmaking, philanthropy, or nonprofit operations
Experience working in or with not-for-profit or philanthropic organisations (highly regarded)
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication.
Proven relationship management skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
Passion for the community sector
