Lightning Box is a gaming company situated on Sydney’s King Street Wharf.  We are looking for a Graphic Designer/After Effects/Motion Graphics allrounder to join our team. You will work with our team developing online and land-based casino games.

We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer & Motion Graphics Artist with expertise in After Effects to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their skills in graphic design and motion graphics. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our game demo videos to life while ensuring visual consistency and alignment with the game’s theme and mechanics. Additionally, you will assist in various other areas of the game production process to help maintain our high quality of game design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging game demo videos to showcase our slot games.
  • Compile spin footage, animations, visual effects, and audio to build captivating game demos.
  • Collaborate with the game development team to ensure visual consistency and alignment with the game’s theme and mechanics.
  • Animate and create additional visual effects to enhance game experiences.
  • Design high-quality graphics for slot games, including lobby buttons, UI elements, info screens, and attract screens.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
  • Assist with the setup, optimization, and exporting of game delivery assets.
  • Design marketing and promotional materials to support our products.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Must have completed a university or college course in Design.

  • Ability to create complex game demo videos with Adobe After Effects. 

  • Strong knowledge of video production and editing techniques.

  • Experience in video editing with Adobe Premiere.

  • Proficiency to edit and design art assets in Adobe Photoshop.

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines while maintaining a high standard of quality.

  • Able to collaborate effectively in a team environment and take direction from management.

  • Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Capability to accept constructive feedback and implement necessary changes.

Highly Regarded:

  • Similar role within the casino gaming industry

  • Graphic Design background

  • Experience using  Trapcode Suite, Element 3D and Spine

  • Interest in animation, FXs and gaming
