Job Description

Step up and join our high-performing Programmatic Sales team in a 12-month fixed-term role, taking dedicated ownership of the Omnicom Group patch!

In this dynamic leadership role, you will champion Nine’s premium content - spanning BVOD, SVOD, Display & Shortform. You’ll become an expert in Nine’s sophisticated suite of data & measurement solutions.

You’ll lead, inspire, and develop a team of two, driving revenue while capitalising on rapid industry advancements, data innovation and programmatic trading. If you thrive on career progression and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in ad tech, this is your launchpad.

Day to day you will:

  • Lead & Mentor: Direct, coach, and elevate a team of two direct reports (Sales Exec & Account Exec), building a culture of growth and high performance.

  • Own the Omnicom Patch: Build deep, influential buyer relationships across Omnicom Group trading desks to drive revenue and outpace quarterly targets.

  • Champion Premium Content: Lead the market in selling Nine's market-leading streaming, BVOD, SVOD and digital portfolio.

  • Set the Agenda: Educate internal teams and agency partners on the future of programmatic, premium data and emerging tech advancements.

  • Drive Strategy & Growth: Develop strategic revenue plans, deliver accurate forecasting, and proactively convert high-value programmatic deals.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Market Expertise: A sharp understanding of the Australian programmatic, streaming, and data landscape.

  • Agency Network: Strong, established connections within the Australian programmatic sector (Omnicom experience is a major plus).

  • Leadership Ambition: A passion for team progression, mentoring junior talent, and advancing your own career.

  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to translate complex programmatic technology into simple, compelling sales narratives that close deals.
