Key responsibilities include:
Lead and evolve nib’s enterprise risk management framework, ensuring alignment with strategy and regulatory standards
Drive a strong, positive risk culture where risk supports performance and informed decision‑making

Provide high‑quality risk analysis and reporting to the Board, Committees and Executive Leadership Team
Lead business continuity and crisis management frameworks to support organisational resilience
Maintain and enhance nib’s relationship with APRA and other key stakeholders
Build, lead and develop a high‑performing Risk team
About you
You are an experienced enterprise risk leader with the credibility, confidence and judgement to operate at executive and Board level. You bring a pragmatic, forward‑looking approach to risk, balancing regulatory rigour with commercial insight.
You’ll bring:
Proven experience leading enterprise risk functions in large, complex organisations
Strong understanding of Australian prudential and risk management standards
Demonstrated experience engaging effectively with regulators, including APRA
Experience leading accountability frameworks and supporting executive accountabilities
The ability to influence, challenge and support senior leaders constructively
A track record of building strong teams and driving cultural change
Excellent written, verbal and stakeholder engagement skills
Relevant tertiary qualifications in risk, business, law, accounting, audit or a related discipline are expected
