The Group Tax Manager will have responsibility for strategic tax areas as follows:
- Partnering with Business Units across UK and Rest of World to provide dedicated support on local tax matters, working alongside local finance teams and their external advisers, as well as guidance on Group tax initiatives and strategy
- Act as the primary contact with HMRC for Group Tax with respect to all UK tax matters (e.g. tax audit co-ordination, Business Risk Review etc.)
- Identifying opportunities to optimise the group’s tax planning position and for and Rest of World Business Units
- Providing guidance on the direct tax implications of business projects and significant transactions
