About the Role:

We’re looking for an incredibly ambitious, data-driven Growth Marketing Manager to take ShopBack through its next growth phase. This is a unique opportunity to lead customer acquisition and drive strategic growth as we work towards becoming a household name in Australia.

Your Adventure Ahead

  • Performance Marketing: Champion performance marketing in Australia and work with our in-house agency to scale acquisition efforts on key paid channels, including Google, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. 
  • Paid Social Content: Lead paid social content efforts including high-impact levers such as creative, post-click experience and algorithmic optimisations. Constantly iterate on content to maximise CACs and conversion rates
  • Test-Measure-Learn Feedback Loop: Establish a continuous test-measure-learn process to optimise paid social content performance. Collaborate with local content and regional online marketing teams to test new ad formats, messaging, and targeting, scaling effective strategies and uncovering winning content.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor in detail campaign performance to derive actionable insights. Maintain a regular reporting cadence and track KPIs.
  • Refer-A-Friend Program: Work with regional product marketing team to scale a highly successful referral program that drives customer advocacy and viral growth
  • Partnerships: Build and manage partnerships that support customer acquisition goals, working closely with external platforms and brands to create joint initiatives and offers.
  • Database Acquisition: Develop strategies for building, growing and converting new sign ups and app downloads
  • Creative Collaboration: Partner with the content and creative team to drive campaign ideation, copywriting, and creative assets that resonate with target audiences across digital channels
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of industry trends and platform updates to ensure we are always using best practices and pushing the limits in acquisition marketing

Essentials to Succeed

  • Experience: 4+ years in a high intensity growth marketing or performance marketing role, with a proven track record of driving customer acquisition across digital channels
  • Driven and self-motivated: Always looking to find creative ways to scale and grow
  • Analytical Mindset: Highly skilled in data analysis, using insights to drive better strategies and inform key decisions.
  • Expertise: Experience scaling paid campaigns on platforms such as Google, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Partnerships: Strong experience working on successful partnerships with sound unit economics
  • Creative Focus: Value the importance of creative in performance marketing and have worked closely with creative teams to develop high-performing / scaled up ads
