Job Description

We are currently seeking a part time Handyperson to join the team at Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort in the stunning Hunter Valley. You will be responsible for maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public areas and carrying out repairs within the property.

About the role:

  • Undertake general repairs and maintenance as required;
  • Provide induction and supervision of external contractors;
  • Implement the preventative maintenance program for each property; and
  • Maintain daily work records and service schedules

Hourly rate:

Monday - Friday: $32.25 per hour 

Saturday: $32.25 per hour

Sunday: $38.70 per hour 

Qualifications

Successful applicants will have:

  • Previous hands-on building maintenance experience
  • A passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Strong time management skills
  • An excellent work-ethic and proven ability to work unsupervised
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications
  • Full availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays 
  • 12 months experience preferred, not essential
