About Us

Vinci is building a new compute layer for engineering: a physics foundation model that makes high-fidelity physics continuously accessible across the hardware development lifecycle.
Today, the world’s most advanced semiconductors are still designed using workflows that assume physics is scarce, slow, and expert-gated. Simulation is run intermittently, often late in the process, limiting how much of the design space teams can explore and how early they can understand performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Vinci changes that.

Our platform delivers deterministic, solver-grade physics simulation directly on native design and manufacturing geometry—at orders-of-magnitude higher throughput. In practice, this allows engineering teams to evaluate far more scenarios, surface issues earlier, and accelerate design cycles across thermal, packaging, and system-level challenges.
Vinci is already in active use within leading semiconductor organizations, with multiple pilots underway and a growing number converting into commercial engagements. Teams are deploying the platform on real design programs—particularly in thermal and advanced packaging workflows—and seeing measurable impact in simulation throughput, design exploration, and cycle time.

This is not a future concept or research effort. It is a product that has been successfully introduced into complex, production engineering environments—and is beginning to expand within those accounts

Role Overview

As Head of Asia GTM, you will build and lead Vinci’s commercial organization across Asia while driving growth within our most critical semiconductor accounts. You will be responsible for developing the regional go-to-market strategy, building and managing the sales team in the geography, and establishing the commercial foundation for Vinci’s expansion across Asia.

In this role, you will develop and execute sophisticated regional and account strategies to displace legacy simulation tools and establish Vinci as the new standard for hardware optimization. You will navigate complex organizational structures and build relationships with key stakeholders, from deeply technical individual contributors to C-suite executives.

You will act as a "quarterback" for the region, orchestrating resources across Sales, Field Pre-sales, Engineering, and Product to ensure successful technical evaluations, production deployments, and long-term account growth.

The Head of Asia GTM will have the hard-line reporting relationship for the sales team in the geography. You will be responsible for hiring, developing, coaching, and managing the regional sales organization, while remaining hands-on in the most strategic customer relationships and opportunities.

You will own the regional revenue target and establish the operating cadence, performance expectations, forecasting discipline, and sales culture required to achieve it.

This is a leadership role for someone who is excited to build a market and an organization at the same time. You are not inheriting a mature regional playbook—you will help create the strategy, team, processes, and operating cadence required to establish Vinci across Asia.

The role requires significant travel throughout Asia to engage strategic customers, support the sales team, and develop the regional business.

Who This Role Is For

This role is designed for a very specific type of sales leader. IF…

You are not looking for a well-defined playbook—you want to help create one.

You’ve been successful building and leading enterprise sales organizations, but you’ve also felt the limits of selling incremental improvements to established tools.

You are drawn to opportunities where:

the product is not yet fully understood by the market – evangelical selling

the buyer does not have a predefined budget or category and the sales motion requires shaping how customers think, not just what they buy – Challenger selling

You are comfortable engaging:

deeply technical ICs

domain experts

executive leadership

and the sales team you are building

often in the same deal cycle.

You know how to build and manage a sales organization, but you’re equally motivated by the opportunity to personally shape the most important customer relationships.

Most importantly, you are looking for a role that is career-defining: one where success is measured not just in revenue, but in helping establish a new standard for how an industry operates.

Responsibilities

Regional GTM Strategy: Build and execute Vinci’s commercial strategy across Asia, identifying the markets, accounts, and business units where Physics AI can deliver maximum ROI. Own the regional revenue target and translate company objectives into regional priorities.

Sales Organization Leadership: Build and manage the regional sales organization, including hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, development, and establishing a high-performance sales culture.

Strategic Account Leadership: Build and maintain deep relationships within a focused set of Tier 1 semiconductor accounts, identifying the specific business units where Physics AI can deliver maximum ROI. This role is responsible for both “land” and “expand” sales activities within each account.

Full Sales Lifecycle Management: Personally lead the most strategic opportunities across the region, from initial discovery and value proposition alignment to complex contract negotiations and closing multi-million dollar deals.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with Field Pre-sales, Engineering, and Product to ensure Test cases and Pilot Deployments are aligned with customer business goals, technical requirements, and our platform capabilities.

Partner Ecosystem Development: Build and manage relationships with resellers, service partners, distributors, and other strategic channel partners across Asia. Leverage partners to expand market access, customer introductions, technical services, deployment support, and account expansion.

Revenue & Sales Operations: Establish a disciplined regional operating cadence, including territory planning, pipeline reviews, forecasting, performance management, and sales methodology. Maintain an accurate and rigorous regional 4X pipeline.

Sales Methodology: Establish and reinforce a disciplined sales methodology across the regional team, grounded in MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Force Management, Challenger, and evangelical selling.

Market Intelligence: Act as a feedback loop for company leadership and Product, distilling regional customer challenges, competitive landscape insights, market dynamics, and partner feedback into actionable business and product requirements.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Enterprise software sales, including significant experience managing and developing enterprise sales teams.

5+ years of direct people management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and development of enterprise sellers.

Proven track record of building and leading sales organizations and owning a regional revenue number.

Proven experience meeting or exceeding significant enterprise sales quotas and closing complex, six-to-seven-figure deals.

Deep understanding of the semiconductor ecosystem, including EDA tools, fabless vs. IDM models, and the current challenges in advanced packaging (2.5D/3D IC).

Executive Presence: Exceptional ability to communicate vision and value to VP and C-level executives.

Technical Literacy: Ability to hold meaningful conversations about Vinci’s approach to physics simulations and how Vinci impacts design, validation, and manufacturing workflows, without needing an SE in every meeting.

Existing network of senior leadership contacts at major semiconductor firms across Asia.

Experience selling through and/or managing a partner network, including resellers, service partners, distributors, or other channel partners.

Preferred Qualifications

Background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Sales leadership experience at a major EDA firm (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys) or a high-growth "AI for Engineering" startup.

Experience building and scaling a regional sales organization in Asia.

Existing "rolodex" of senior leadership contacts at major semiconductor firms across Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, and other key Asian markets.

Experience navigating "Land and Expand" strategies within highly siloed engineering organizations.

Experience building a new market where the category and buying motion are still being established.

Experience building and leveraging a partner ecosystem to expand market reach and accelerate enterprise sales.

Evangelical and Challenger selling. Educate and show a new approach with MEDDIC/MEDDPICC/Force Management foundation.
