What you will be doing
As the Regional leader, you will be responsible for end to end Order to Cash process for ~$2.8B+ of operations spread across Asia pacific, Japan and Middle East.
This position ensures efficient operations, adherence to company policies, partners with internal and external stakeholders towards meeting the financial objectives.
This role also leads a team of professionals across multiple geographies, focusing on performance enhancement and continuous improvement within the O2C function.
What will keep you busy
- Responsible for DSO, Invoicing, and Cash targets for the Region
- Operations management
- Supervise the complete O2C process, which includes billing, collections, and cash application.
- Define, set and monitor SLAs and SLA adherence.
- Lead all business escalations to a timely and effective resolution.
- Coordinate and lead operational reviews.
- Continuous Improvement: Recognise and implement process enhancements to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the O2C function.
- Technology Adoption : Use O2C systems and tools to streamline operations and promote automation.
- Escalation management and Issue resolutions
- Compliance: Guarantee that all O2C activities adhere to company policies, audit requirements, legal standards, and industry regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks across the value chain of O2C process and \ formulate strategies to mitigate them.
- Business Forecasting and Target Setting: Develop and oversee forecasts for O2C operations, establishing realistic and attainable targets for the business.
- Employ data analytics and reporting to derive insights into O2C performance, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making. Bring transparency and predictability to Cash operations
- Track progress against target and variance analysis
- Billing trends, Billing compliance, Past Due, Unbilled
- Drivers impacting cash and proactive / preventive action plan
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders, such as sales, finance, and customer service teams, to address issues and enhance processes.
- Demonstrate strong executive leadership presence, effectively communicating with senior leadership in representing the O2C function at the executive level.
- Leadership and Talent development: Direct and guide the subregional regional O2C leaders, offering coaching and opportunities for professional growth.
- People Management: Manage the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of the O2C team, creating a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
The skills you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Significant years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar level of role
- Proven experience in business process transactions
- Proficiencies in business process management and optimization
- A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology.
- Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) or significant relevant work experience a plus
