Your Responsibilities (including but are not limited to):
- Category Vision and Strategy: Develop and execute the ANZ Category Vision framework, leading to strategic growth plans that drive business results.
- Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performing team of 8 category development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support.
- Insights and Analysis: Analyze complex shopper and consumer insights to inform category strategies and drive profitable growth.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, and RGM, to drive business growth and deliver results. This role has high contact with the Executive team
- Assortment and Price Realization: Develop and implement frameworks for guiding assortment planning, price realization, and PPA funnel management.
About You
- Commercial and Business Acumen: High degree of commercial and business acumen, with a strong understanding of financial metrics and drivers.
- Category Development Experience: Deep category development experience in retail and or FMCG, with a proven track record of driving growth and delivering results.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical capability, with the ability to simplify complex insights into actionable plans for profitable growth.
- Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and manage high-performing teams, with a strong focus on coaching, development, and talent management.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders and customers.
- Tertiary Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline.
- Eligibility to Work in Australia: Eligibility to work in Australia is essential.
Desirable Qualifications:
- FMCG or Retail Experience: Experience in the FMCG or retail industry, with a strong understanding of the Australian and New Zealand markets.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Experience with data analysis and insights tools, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and drive business decisions.
- Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Innovation and Creativity: A track record of innovation and creativity in category development, with a focus on driving growth and delivering results.
