About The Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional, entrepreneurial Head of Communications for APAC. This person is a senior leader who will own and drive our regional communications strategy and execution while playing a pivotal role in global and regional PR initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone who combines deep regional media relationships with an interest in and passion for the digital asset space.

We're looking for a builder: someone who's comfortable operating with autonomy, thrives in fast-moving environments, and knows how to convert communications strategy into measurable results.

Candidates based in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Australia (Sydney/Melbourne preferred) are encouraged to apply. We operate with regional flexibility and a results-first culture. We care about impact, not where you sit.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the development and execution of OKX's APAC communications strategy — setting direction, driving alignment, and delivering results across the region.
  • Serve as the senior communications voice for APAC, partnering closely with marketing, product, legal, compliance, and local market leads.
  • Build and lead a high-performing communications function, including managing PR agency relationships across the region.
  • Leverage your deep network of media contacts across Australia, Singapore, and broader APAC — including tier-one business, broadcast, financial, and crypto media — to drive high-impact coverage.
  • Cultivate and own relationships with editors, journalists, and influential industry voices across key APAC markets.
  • Place compelling stories in top-tier general media and leading crypto publications, driving consistent coverage volume and quality.
  • Act as an integral member of the global comms/PR team, contributing to worldwide initiatives and helping amplify global campaigns across APAC.
  • Activate PR opportunities through OKX's global partnerships, including McLaren F1 Team and Manchester City Football Club, generating visibility across media and potential users.
  • Write and oversee PR plans, press materials, executive messaging, and content for key announcements and initiatives.
  • Ensure brand consistency and messaging discipline across all regional communications efforts.
  • Track, report on, and actively influence media coverage to align with business objectives.
What We Look For In You
  • 12–15 years of experience in PR and communications, with a strong background in financial services, fintech, or technology, crypto experience is preferred.
  • Superior stakeholder management and presentation skills.
  • Established media connections across APAC relationships across business, broadcast, financial, and crypto media.
  • Proven track record running regional and global PR campaigns that generate significant, high-quality media coverage.
  • Experience with investment and financial communications.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, you set ambitious targets, hold yourself accountable, and know how to get results in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Team management experience and the ability to lead, mentor, and inspire.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Wellness and meal allowances
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!
