About the Role:
We are looking for a Head of Data & AI to lead our enterprise-wide data and AI capabilities, ensuring ethical, effective, and innovative solutions that empower teams and elevate decision-making. As the Head of Data and AI, you will be driving a culture of innovation, collaboration & continuous learning. Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary Data and AI team.
- Partner with business leaders to understand data and AI needs.
- Represent data and AI capabilities in strategic forums and governance bodies.
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML models with a focus on ethical and transparent use.
- Monitor model performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Promote self-service analytics and data literacy across the organisation.
- Ensure data quality, accessibility, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and architecture.
- Collaborate with IT and digital operations to ensure scalability and integration.
About you:
You will have proven expertise in data governance, machine learning, and cloud-based platforms. You will be a collaborative and customer-focussed leader who is committed to innovation and continuous improvement. You will also have:
- 10+ years in enterprise data transformation or digital innovation, with 5+ years in leadership.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven experience partnering with business leaders to understand data and AI needs and drive outcomes
- Experience in ethical AI practices and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
- Certifications in AI/ML, data governance, or cloud platforms (desirable).
