Your new role  

As the Head of Finance Partnering & Planning you will: 

  • Lead financial planning and analysis across designated Pacific business lines, bringing together budgeting, forecasting, planning and reporting into a clear, forward looking financial narrative  

  • Deliver high quality, decision ready insights that support strategic, commercial and operational decision making across the Pacific  

  • Play a critical role in advancing performance management, enabling business growth and improving outcomes through strong financial partnering with senior leaders  

  • Ensure robust financial governance, including compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and consistent application of accounting standards  

  • Lead the delivery of accurate, timely financial information to support both consolidated group reporting and local statutory requirements  

  • Act as a trusted finance partner to Pacific leadership, helping translate strategy into actionable financial plans and outcomes  

  • Build and sustain a high performing financial planning and partnerships team, with a strong focus on capability development, talent management and succession  

  • Create a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and curiosity, balancing hands-on leadership with coaching and empowerment  

  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, regional and group finance teams, and external partners, navigating a complex, multi geography environment 

  

About you  

  • An experienced Manager or Senior Manager in FP&A with strong foundations in budgeting, forecasting and reporting, and a mindset of accountability and ownership 

  • Brings a customerled, insightdriven, market leading approach, translating financial data into clear, practical insights that enable confident decisionmaking 

  • A collaborative and trusted partner to senior leaders, influencing outcomes through thoughtful challenge, curiosity and strong relationships 

  • Demonstrates strong technical finance expertise and commercial judgement, ideally within insurance or financial services, with a commitment to continuous improvement 

  • Comfortable working across matrixed and offshore environments, building inclusive, respectful stakeholder relationships across regions 

  • A supportive, empowering people leader who invests in mentoring, capability uplift and psychological safety to build highperforming teams 

  • French language capability is a nice to have, given support of French territories
