Leading a high-performing team, you’ll leverage capabilities from across the Group to deliver differentiated products and measurable client value. Your leadership will influence decisions at Executive and Board level and ensure Fidante’s offerings continue to succeed in a highly competitive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Management & Governance: Oversee the full lifecycle of Fidante’s product suite to ensure competitiveness, scalability, and compliance. Lead simplification and rationalisation initiatives where appropriate.

  • Distribution & Client Engagement: Work closely with Sales and Marketing to position products effectively across institutional, wholesale, and retail clients. Provide thought leadership and support tailored solutions.

  • Commercial & Financial Outcomes: Optimise portfolio profitability and scale. Establish clear performance metrics and contribute to Challenger Group’s broader strategic objectives.

  • Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and mentor a high-performing team. Act as a key liaison across affiliates, Challenger functions, regulators, and industry forums, representing Fidante with authority and credibility.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing product team.

  • Demonstrated experience setting and executing product strategy in line with business goals.

  • Expertise in managing relationships with investment teams, balancing support with commercial outcomes.

Experience and Expertise

  • Extensive experience in investment product development, product management, or related roles within funds management, superannuation or similar.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience engaging senior executives and external partners.

  • Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (ASIC, APRA, and international equivalents) and governance standards.

  • Strategic thinker with a strong innovation mindset, able to anticipate future client and market needs.

  • Track record of launching and managing innovative investment solutions across asset classes.
