A Day in the Life of Weel’s Head of Marketing

At Weel, we’re transforming the future of expense management, and we’re looking for a passionate and visionary Head of Marketing to help scale our presence across the APAC region. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of a fast-growing fintech startup, with the chance to make a significant impact as we embark on our exciting Series B journey.

As a leader at Weel, you’ll have the freedom to craft and implement a marketing strategy that drives results while fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and empowering team culture. You’ll work hand-in-hand with cross-functional teams—Sales, Product, and Finance—to build a powerful brand and generate meaningful growth. If you’re ready to lead a purpose-driven company into its next phase of expansion, we’d love to hear from you.

Your Impact:

Lead Marketing Strategy & Demand Generation

You’ll be at the helm of shaping our lead generation strategy, creating marketing campaigns that attract high-quality leads and convert them into loyal customers. From growing brand awareness to improving bottom of funnel conversions, you’ll create impactful, sustainable growth pathways for the business.

Foster Collaboration Across Teams

You’ll partner closely with Sales to align marketing with revenue-generating efforts, ensuring that our go-to-market strategy is efficient and results-oriented. Together, you’ll refine lead scoring and lead follow up strategies, and create a feedback loop to continually improve messaging and engagement.

Use Data to Drive Decisions & Results

Leverage data to guide your marketing decisions, monitor campaign effectiveness, and track performance metrics. You’ll focus on metrics like customer acquisition costs, return on investment, and lead conversion rates to ensure every marketing initiative is aligned with our growth goals.

Lead & Inspire a Diverse, High-Performing Team

As a mentor, you’ll empower a team of creatives and strategists to be their best, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth. You’ll encourage open communication, help your team set and achieve ambitious goals, and create an environment where everyone feels supported and valued.

Elevate Weel’s Brand Presence

As a key player in defining Weel’s market position, you’ll lead the effort to amplify our brand identity. From messaging to visual storytelling, you’ll ensure our value propositions stand out in the competitive fintech and SaaS landscape, resonating with both customers and investors.

Skills & Experience We’d Love You to Bring

Strategic Growth Leadership

3+ years of experience in marketing leadership, ideally within high-growth B2B SaaS or fintech environments. You should be comfortable driving revenue-focused strategies that scale alongside the business.

Demand Generation & Lead Acquisition

Proven expertise in creating and executing lead generation strategies that drive real, measurable growth. You understand the importance of a strong, optimised top-of-funnel process and know how to fine-tune it for maximum impact.

Sales & Marketing Alignment

You have a collaborative approach and experience in aligning marketing and sales teams around shared goals. Your ability to streamline lead handoff and optimise the sales funnel will be key in our efforts to scale.

Data-Driven Marketing

You make decisions based on data and have experience optimising campaigns using key performance metrics like customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and return on investment (ROI).

Brand Strategy & Positioning

You’ve successfully built or repositioned brands within competitive markets, crafting messaging that resonates with target audiences and sets the brand apart from competitors.

Bonus Points If You Have

Experience with Series B or C Startups: If you’ve scaled marketing strategies during high-growth phases, especially in early-stage SaaS companies, we’d love to hear about it.

A Strong Network in Finance or Fintech: Having a deep understanding of the fintech landscape and connections within the finance community would be a huge asset.

We're better together

At Weel, we’re committed to fostering a genuinely inclusive and equitable workplace that promotes and values diversity: a place where everyone can bring their authentic, whole selves to work.

We celebrate uniqueness and diversity of experiences because we know that bringing together different points of view is our strength. If you don't think you meet all the requirements of the role, but align with our values, we would still love to hear from you!
