The Head of Musketeers has the overall responsibility for the implementation of the On Premise strategy in the core universe of the On Premise. As the face of the brand and together with the team, they optimize sales, brand presence and awareness throughout the On Premise environment. The Head of Musketeers is the leader of the Regional On Premise Managers and their Musketeers. 

Job Description

THE ROLE MODEL

  • Be the credible voice of On Premise for Red Bull. Ensure appropriate communication flow and knowledge transfer within the national management team. Secure and optimize the teamwork with all national business units. 
  • Bring the brand premium values of Red Bull to life as a role model for the entire team and the On Premise network.
  • Use your unique personality to showcase this premium brand and to build effective relationships with strategically important customers and industry contacts. 

 

THE TEAM LEADER

  • Build and maintain a strong and highly effective team. Lead and coach all direct reports in a motivational way for increased productivity and engagement.  
  • Take ownership of the national training plan. Guarantee trainings and coaching on a benchmark level to ensure continuous development of the team so that they stay on the cutting edge. 
  • Evaluate the skill level of the On Premise team on a permanent basis and adjust plans to reach targets. Ensure continuous development within the team through proper succession preparation. 

 

THE STRATEGIC OPERATOR

  • Take full responsibility for the implementation of the national On Premise business plan top down. Constantly evaluate execution by spending time in field and by setting up appropriate KPI’s. 
  • Set up a proper route planning to ensure excellence in coverage and execution. Manage team to drive horizontal as well as vertical growth. 
  • Know your market like the back of your hand. Spend an appropriate amount of time in the field to stay close to market dynamics, secure and optimize existing execution and maintain a sharp look-out for new opportunities—winning them over for Red Bull. 
  • Together with the OPMM find and develop marketing strategies and concepts to leverage the brand and increase product consumption in the ever-changing On Premise environment. 

 

THE BUSINESS MANAGER

  • Plan and continuously develop the geographical area and team structure including human resource evaluation and allocation. 
  • Manage team resources such as budget and POS material effectively. 
  • Carry out ongoing analysis of market research, KPI’s and reporting tool database with an insight into action mentality 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years management experience with a proven track record of achieving success due to your strong leadership. 

  • You possess strong On Premise knowledge with established night scene contacts, or the ability to build them quickly. Open, extroverted, and confident, inspiring others with your genuine ‘can do’ attitude.

  • Highly developed analytical skills, translating market data, sales analyses, and forecasts into effective sales activations and brand-marketing activities for the On Premise environment.

  • Strategic and innovative commercial awareness and acumen (strong understanding of sales processes and financial systems). 

  • A social chameleon with self-awareness, able to adapt communication, presentation, and appearance to suit any audience.

  • Clear understanding of markets, sales and distribution, consumer behaviour and competitor activity in FMCG context. 

  • Strong planning, prioritisation and organisational ability. 

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills such as selling, negotiating, training, coaching and active listening. 

  • Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur. 

  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently in a high energy, fast-paced, field-based environment. Able and willing to work very flexible hours (including nights and weekends).
