The Role:


As Blinq's Head of Business Operations, you will oversee and integrate our key internal functions including Finance, People Operations, Talent, Legal, and Business Operations. Your mission is to build scalable infrastructure and processes that support Blinq's rapid growth while ensuring operational excellence across all internal functions.

What You Will Own:

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO to develop and execute company-wide strategy. Lead and integrate Finance, People, Legal and Operations functions. Drive cross-functional alignment and resource optimisation. Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial strategy, planning, and reportingManage budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Drive financial sustainability and operational efficiency. Build relationships with investors and key financial partners
  • People & Culture: Build and scale our people operations functionOversee recruitment, retention, and talent developmentDevelop compensation, benefits, and performance frameworksFoster an engaging and inclusive company culture
  • Legal & Compliance: Manage legal affairs and compliance requirements. Oversee contract management and negotiations. Ensure appropriate risk management practices. Maintain corporate governance standards
  • Operations Excellence: Design and implement scalable business processesDrive operational efficiency and productivity. Manage vendor and partner relationshipsLead business-critical initiatives and special projects

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strategic Thinker with Execution Focus: You have a proven track record of leading operational and financial initiatives from concept through execution.
  • Process-Oriented and Financial Acumen: You are highly skilled in building scalable processes that increase efficiency and have strong financial oversight capabilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing financial performance.
  • Leadership Experience: You have experience leading teams and driving cross-functional alignment across fast-growing organisations, particularly in operations and finance.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Maker: You rely on data to make informed decisions, continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and financial performance.
  • Adaptable and Resilient: You thrive in a dynamic startup environment and are comfortable managing uncertainty while keeping teams aligned and focused.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You are skilled at communicating across all levels of the organisation, ensuring that operations and finance are clear, aligned, and efficient.

What You Will Bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, business management, or a similar role, ideally with financial and operational oversight responsibilities within a fast-growing tech startup.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects, teams, and financial performance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
  • Expertise in scaling processes, managing budgets, and driving both operational and financial efficiency.
  • Experience working closely with C-level executives to align operations and finance with business strategy
