Position Overview:
We’re seeking a Head of Operations to design and lead the operating system of Cyber Fund, an investment firm at the forefront of crypto, Web3, and frontier tech.
This role is central to driving executional excellence across all non-investment departments. You will report to the Executive Ops and work closely with the leadership team to bring transparency, clarity, and performance rigor across multiple projects, entities, and teams.
The ideal candidate combines a sharp strategic mind with operational empathy and relentless bias for action. You’re a builder, optimizer, and connector, comfortable with ambiguity and able to navigate a complex cross-functional landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic execution & team enablementTranslate leadership priorities into OKRs, dashboards, and workflows across departments.
Build systems that help teams stay focused, aligned, and accountable.
Run weekly & quarterly planning cycles, reviews, and team rituals.
Audit and re-engineer key operational workflows (payments, contracts, compliance, hiring, travel).
Identify blockers, friction points, and opportunities to automate or delegate.
Champion documentation culture (e.g., Notion, Asana) and ensure institutional memory.
Develop TechStack and processes automation
Coordinate across departments to ensure streamlined execution and aligned priorities.
Maintain structure charts, board cadences, and regulatory calendars across all entities.
Oversee partner/vendor management for operations-related services.
Drive complex, cross-cutting initiatives (e.g., launching new entities, restructuring board composition, M&A support).
Act as interim owner of business areas until dedicated leads are in place.
Partner with HR to ensure onboarding, offboarding, compensation tracking, and compliance.
Support team wellbeing through thoughtful planning, off-sites, and internal comms.
