Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Director/Head of Product and Specialist Presales to be focused on sustainable revenue growth through development and delivery of leading and inspiring products to the market.


What you'll need to bring to the role & Experian

  • You will have experience using data and insights to inform product development with the ability to understand and address client needs.
  • Leadership: You will lead and inspire teams, experience managing multiple simultaneous projects, and drive results.
  • Agile Expertise: You will have experience managing product owners and development teams in an agile environment, with a solid understanding of agile methodologies and best practices.
  • Industry Knowledge: You will have deep understanding of the commercial credit and/or the financial services industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory requirements.
  • Small Business: You will have ideally have experience with or understanding of the small business economy and entrepreneurship


Work that matters - What you'll be doing - Reporting to the Managing Director and sitting on the Leadership Team;


  • Leadership: You will lead and mentor a team of product owners and sales specialists, fostering a culture of client oriented innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Product Strategy: You will develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with the market needs and overall company objectives. Feed strategic market assessment and focus opportunities into the overall company strategic planning.
  • Agile Management: You will empower your team of product owners in an agile environment, ensuring effective sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and iterative development.
  • Product Development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, and executive leadership to ensure alignment and successful product launches..

Qualifications

More about you


  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the commercial credit or financial services industry.
  • Education: Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field

  • Solving for market and client problems and exceeding client expectations
  • Driving a brand for thought leadership innovation in the market
  • Ensuring the right investment and prioritisation of resources at the right time
  • Ultimately driving profitable and sustainable revenue growth for the business.
