Where the team fits in 

The Financial Services team is accountable for strategy development and execution, working with our banking and mortgage broker partners to build our capability and product offerings, leading sales management and engaging across the other lines of business in REA.

The partnership panel team works hand in hand across the teams to deliver outcomes to help brokers grow their businesses and ensure we have a panel of lenders that is broad enough to meet consumer demand. 

 

What the role is all about 

You will ensure our White Label offerings are competitive, compelling, and aligned with our overarching business goals.
You will:

  • Develop and execute the national strategy for White Label products to drive sales growth and maximise utilisation across the Mortgage Choice network

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a national team of three White Label Business Development Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring the achievement of sales targets

  • Cultivate and manage executive-level relationships with white label lender partners to drive strategic alignment, performance, and product evolution

  • Collaborate closely with Product and Technology teams to influence the White Label product roadmap, enhance the customer and broker experience, and integrate solutions seamlessly

  • Work with the Distribution Leadership team to ensure the White Label strategy is embedded within broader distribution initiatives and state-based sales plans

  • Provide strategic insights, performance reporting, and forecasting to the Financial Services leadership team, using data analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks

  • Act as the ultimate subject matter expert and key point of escalation for White Label solutions, championing the portfolio across the entire business

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with the broker network, state team, and white label partner BDMs and State management to boost product engagement and adoption

  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify high-potential broker opportunities and optimise sales efforts for maximum impact and returns

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the business to drive enterprise focus and visibility for White Label solutions within the broader lender panel

 

Who we’re looking for 

  • Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and managing a high-performing sales or business development team, preferably within the mortgage or financial services industry

  • Expertise in developing and implementing national sales and product strategies that align with business objectives and deliver measurable growth in a competitive market

  • Superior ability to build and maintain influential relationships with senior internal leaders (Product, Tech, Sales) and external partners at an executive level

  • Experience working effectively with Product and Technology teams to influence product development, strategy, and go-to-market execution

  • Strong proficiency in data analysis to drive strategy, forecast performance, manage budgets, and make informed commercial decisions that optimise for growth and profitability

  • Exceptional ability to articulate a strategic vision, inspire and motivate a team, and communicate complex information effectively to stakeholders at all levels, from brokers to the executive team

  • In-depth understanding of the Australian mortgage broking landscape, with a strong preference for direct experience in white label or third-party product management and strategy

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with brokers, partners, and internal teams, fostering collaboration and product engagement

  • Capability to articulate product features, benefits, and competitive differentiators clearly in both written and verbal formats, including training materials and presentations
