Your role at Clorox:

Looking for a rising HR superstar - keen to grow, you will be part of our journey of business growth and transformation. We Put People at the Centre - As HR Advisor, you will be supporting strategic People activities and less on ER - how amazing is that?!

In this role, you will:

As a HR Advisor, you will partner closely with the HR Manger to support execution of our People strategy while also responsible for executing HR operations and payroll across Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. You will have a direct impact on shaping our culture that is both People and Performance driven.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Being the face of HR - you will be first point of contact to managers and employees on everything from performance to policy
  • Leading payroll - manage monthly outsourced payroll end to end and relevant reporting activities and obligations on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
  • Coordinating key employee lifecycle activities - hire, onboarding, probation, salary review and offboarding
  • Collaborating with international stakeholders in HR CoE's - to complete relevant HR activities e.g. Talent Acquisition, Compensation, L&D, Employee Relations & Legal
  • Managing HR Operations & Maintain HRIS - manage all relevant admin and documentation required for HR/People related processes and ensure Workday is an accurate source of People data
  • Supporting People Projects - you will be exposed to and work on a variety of People projects that enhance culture and support strategic objectives including: Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management & Capability and Employee Engagement

What we look for:

  • 1-2 years' experience as a HR Coordinator or HR Advisor
  • Previous experience with payroll preferred
  • Experience with HRIS (e.g Workday, Successfactors) is essential
  • Some ability to work across time zones as required (NZ, RSA, HK, UK, ARG, USA)
  • Strong knowledge and application of HR practices and employment law
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders and provide coaching/advice
  • Curiosity to learn and drive culture and performance with a people and business lens
  • Proactive and enjoys working collaboratively to solve problems/challenges
  • Can think innovatively/creatively and shares ideas for improvement openly
  • Driven to execute with quality and timeliness, understanding the importance of relevant legal and internal control obligations.
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, and generally tech-savvy

Hybrid - 3 days On-site, 2 days WFH
