Job Description

The HR Advisor provides hands-on operational HR support to the business, delivering timely, practical advice across core HR processes and employee relations. This role supports stakeholders by managing day‑to‑day HR requests, ensuring smooth execution of the employee lifecycle, and maintaining high levels of service and compliance.

The HR Advisor also plays an important role in identifying opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and ways of working, contributing to continuous improvement and effective people management across the organisation.

Day to day!

  • Partner with business leaders and managers on a range of employee relations matters.
  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely HR documentation across the employee lifecycle, including employment contracts, contract variations, performance and reward documentation.
  • Maintain HR systems and records to ensure employee information is accurate, compliant, and up to date.
  • Provide practical advice and guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best‑practice people management.
  • Support reporting requirements, including monthly stakeholder reports and statutory and ad‑hoc HR reporting.

You will bring experience in HR administration or advisory roles, with a formal HR qualification or certificate highly regarded. You have a demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and strong service standards.

You are a collaborative team player who can work effectively across multiple teams to achieve positive outcomes. Strong IT skills are essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. You communicate clearly and confidently, with the ability to interpret and explain HR policies and processes to a range of stakeholders.

A high level of attention to detail, coupled with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, will support your ability to work independently, exercise initiative, and contribute positively to the team.
