As a HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in our dynamic Human Resources team, supporting employees across Australia and New Zealand. You’ll provide HR support and advice in all aspects of HR to include Employee Relations, Employment Law, Recruitment, Learning & Development and Compensation & Benefits for CMC’s ANZ operations.

What you’ll be working on

As our HR Business Partner for ANZ, you’ll work closely with leaders to provide advice and support across all areas of HR. You’ll be the go-to person for matters including:

  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Onboarding
  • Learning, development, and coaching
  • Remuneration reviews and benefits
  • HR systems (including Workday)

You’ll also play a key role in enhancing our people strategy—educating and empowering managers, building strong cross-functional relationships, and promoting a positive, performance-driven culture.

What will help you to be successful?

You’re someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and builds trust with ease. With 4+ years HR experience in either a HR Advisor or HR Business Partner role, you’ll bring strong generalist HR knowledge, a good grasp of Australian employment law, and confidence using HRIS tools (such as Workday). Experience in fast-paced, corporate environments is ideal as well as eligibility to work in Australia.

You’ll be someone who communicates clearly, solves problems quickly, and genuinely enjoys supporting people and leaders to be their best.
