About the role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Accommodations Plus International' in Sydney, Mascot, NSW. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our human resources operations within the APAC region and contributing to the overall success of our organisation. 

What you'll be doing

  • Assist with the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining up-to-date personnel records
  • Coordinate HR-related activities, such as employee relations, benefits administration, and performance management
  • Provide administrative support for the HR department, including data entry, document management, and reporting
  • Contribute to the implementation and improvement of HR policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Collaborate with the HR team to address employee queries and provide guidance on HR-related matters
  • Assist with the coordination of training and development initiatives for our employees
  • Support the HR team in various special projects and ad-hoc tasks as needed

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an HR coordinator or generalist role
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of HR-related software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Passion for delivering high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Australian employment laws and HR best practices

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 

Full time, 38 ordinary hours per week, averaged over 26 weeks, to be worked generally between the core business hours of 8:30am and 5pm, Monday – Friday. This is a hybrid role, working from Sydney office a min. 3 days per week on compulsory corporate and team days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday).
