Job Summary: The Coordinator – HSEQ RAVS position is a cross-functional role designed to provide health and safety expertise to new and existing clients and support internal teams via account support. The role requires in-depth knowledge of HSEQ-related legislation, and the individual must be self-motivated, and willing to assist with all of the day-to-day demands inherent to a rapidly growing organization.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Review contractor HSEQ documentation and processes, and communicate compliance/gaps in regard to regulatory requirements
  • Research, develop, and enhance health and safety review protocols as necessitated by legislation
  • Perform desktop audits of health and safety programs and/or other HSE documentation
  • Coordinate various product development and implementation initiatives
  • Serve as health and safety subject matter expert with prospective and existing clients
  • Proactively analyze processes and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement
  • Support and participate in the organization’s Continual Improvement Program to conform to ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy procedures and meeting QMS and ISMS objectives
  • All employees have a professional duty to provide any information related to security issues, incidents or situations that present a potential security risk to the ISO Team, ISN Management or their Supervisor
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by management
  • Up to 25% travel for work

Requirements

Education and Training

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related field from an accredited university and/or equivalent work experience

Knowledge and Skills

  • Understanding of OSHA standards, EPA regulations, related state statutes/regulations or local ordinances and ISO/Management Systems standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Desire to assume increasing levels of leadership responsibility
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical and Safety Requirements
  • Sitting, bending, standing, walking, typing and/or speaking at least 8 hours per day
  • Able to regularly lift and move up to 15 lbs

Onsite Requirements: Employees must be within a commutable distance to the office and be willing to come into the office for required trainings, events, team activities, and meetings. Employees are required to be in-person during training and at least 3 days per week on an ongoing basis.
