You are responsible for assisting and implementing human resources strategies in all HR fields to support hotel and business goals. As a Human Resources Advisor, you’re not just supporting the HR department – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:

  • Lead day-to-day HR operations:  Manage recruitment, onboarding, team member relations, performance management, training coordination, immigration, workplace health and safety, and HR administration, while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation. Support the Director of Human Resources in delivering key HR initiatives.
  • Enhance team member engagement:  Coordinate recognition programmes, team member events, wellbeing initiatives, and engagement activities that foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
  • Manage HR systems and reporting:  Maintain accurate team member records, process employment lifecycle changes, monitor training and performance documentation, and prepare HR reports and analytics to support business and operational needs.
  • Support talent development and people leadership:  Provide HR guidance and coaching to managers, support performance and development conversations, facilitate learning and development initiatives, and partner with leaders to build engaged and high-performing teams.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:

  • At least 3–5 years in HR, preferably in hospitality or service-oriented industries.
  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Familiarity with recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and labor laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication; able to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Approachable, empathetic, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Adherence to the highest professional ethics and standards, maintaining integrity and transparency.
