Hybrid GP/Specialist Sales Representative

Canberra & Regional NSW | 12-Month Maternity Leave Contract

IQVIA is seeking a motivated and results-driven Hybrid GP/Specialist Sales Representative to join an experienced sales team, promoting a product within the cardiometabolic therapeutic area on behalf of a leading global pharmaceutical company.

This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse territory encompassing Canberra and regional NSW, including Goulburn, Griffith, Cooma, Yass, Wagga Wagga, and surrounding areas.

About the Role

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales performance and achieving business objectives through effective engagement with General Practitioners, Specialists.

You will leverage your territory management expertise, customer insights, and strategic planning skills to build strong professional relationships and support improved patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will also include assisting the GP sales team in obtaining key opinion leaders for educational meetings.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science, Business, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • A proven track record of sales success.
  • Strong territory management and business planning skills.
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience across both GP and Specialist channels.
  • Experience within the cardiometabolic therapeutic area (highly regarded).
  • Strong B2B sales and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • Excellent networking, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, resilient, and results-oriented mindset.
  • High ethical standards and the ability to thrive in a target-driven environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canberra and regional NSW healthcare landscape.
