We are seeking an experienced IAM Senior Engineer to join our exceptional team within the Modern Run Identity Practice. 

Our Identity Practice has been an integral part of the business since inception back in 2014 and the team have built a strong reputation as one of the best in the market.  

We work in cross-functional teams to deliver IAM (Identity and Access Management) solutions built on AWS. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to be exposed to some of the biggest Identity projects within Australia an immerse yourself in exciting work.

Responsibilities:

  • Deep understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and best practices.

  • Deploy, configure and maintain IAM solutions for our customers but not limited to IAM platforms, SSO and MFA.

  • Perform regular reviews and updates to ensure the ongoing efficiency and security of deployed solutions.

  • Oversee the administration of Identity and Access Management (IDAM) solutions, encompassing the incorporation of new services within multi-cloud environments.

  • Experience working in an ITIL environment and responding to requests promptly.

  • Have implemented Identity lifecycles with / IDAM / IAM solutions (Entra / Ping / Okta / ForgeRock) · Knowledge and ability to work with SCIM provisioning for application integration.

  • Keep up to date about industry best practices and emerging trends in IAM, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of security standards and any security findings addressed.

  • Extensive experience working with Microsoft Identity Manager.

  • Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and improvements in managed services delivery.

  • Work with a team to implement enhancements and updates to stay ahead of evolving security threats and technology advancements.

Technical Skills required:

  • Experience using one of the following IAM platforms – Entra, Okta, Forgerock, Sailpoint etc.

  • Practical experience with OAUTH and SAML and collaboration with vendors to implement.

  • Proficiency in PowerShell for managing custom scripts developed for customer solutions, ensuring proper code maintenance.

  • Knowledge of federation standards, including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect.

  • Experience working in an Operations environment would be highly beneficial.
