The Role

Location: Melbourne

We have found a great balance of embracing flexible working whilst also maintaining in-office collaboration with most teams meeting in the office 3 days per week.

  • Build the Engine Room: As a key manager in this brand-new team, you'll establish the processes and operational excellence for our foundational client, Asahi.
  • Bring Strategy to Life: Drive the execution of best-in-class omnichannel media plans, turning brilliant strategies for iconic brands into flawlessly activated campaigns.
  • Champion Your Team: Lead, mentor, and empower a team of direct reports, overseeing their workflow and guiding their career growth from the very beginning.
  • Own the Outcome: Take full ownership of the campaign lifecycle, from managing bookings and financial compliance to delivering insightful and progressive post-analysis reporting.
  • Master the Relationships: Cultivate strong, trusted connections with the Asahi client team, media partners, and internal specialists to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.

 

Ideal Skills and Experience

A hands-on, detail-oriented leader who gets genuine satisfaction from building robust processes, mentoring talent, and seeing a plan executed to perfection. We’re also looking for;

  • A Media Activation Guru: You have deep knowledge of media planning principles and a strong ability to use industry tools to manage, implement, and report on campaigns.
  • An Inspiring Leader: You're a supportive manager who can provide clear guidance, motivate a team to hit their goals, and foster a positive, collaborative culture.
  • The Ultimate Problem-Solver: You are results-driven, with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive mindset for identifying challenges and creating effective solutions.
  • A Client Service Champion: You excel at building strong, intermediate-level client relationships and have a reputation for delivering outstanding service.
  • An Inquisitive & Authentic Contributor: You're keen to bring your authentic self to work, are excited by new technologies, and have a genuine desire to contribute to great teamwork.

At Mindshare ANZ, we offer a competitive salary package, with 20 days holiday increasing with service to a maximum of 25 days, with the option to purchase extra leave of up to 4 weeks per year.
