Why will you love this opportunity as an Education Consultant at Civica?
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in providing training, support, and professional services for Civica’s School Management System, including the execution of integration services. You will serve as a go-to expert in school administration and integration practices, assisting in tackling complex (Level 3+) support challenges alongside our support, warranty, and consulting teams.
By relaying valuable customer insights to project managers and product leaders, you will play an essential role in influencing product enhancements and fostering wider adoption. Collaborating closely with diverse teams across Civica, you’ll help drive business objectives while ensuring the delivery of top-notch service—strengthening customer relationships and inspiring referrals.
What you will do to be successful in this role
- Fulfil the function of a subject matter expert with relevant Timetable software and process experience to provide advice to schools to ensure customer outcomes are met
- Experience implementing integrations to third party software
- A high level of accountability in the delivery of Professional Services.
- Ability to foster and promote an ethic of quality and improvement consistent with a professional consulting role.
- Training of software solutions to customers
- Ability to deliver in line with agreed project plans.
- Strong people engagement with ability to work with customers at all levels.
- A high level of customer service skills with the ability to build relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Ability to communicate confidently and effectively.
- Outstanding time management, prioritisation, multi-tasking and organisation skills.
- Highly motivated with a commitment to self-improvement and customer satisfaction.
- Independent self-starter who works well as part of a team.
- A high level of written and verbal communication
- Flexibility to travel interstate and overseas as required.

- Previous experience in a consulting role
- Experience using Edval or Timetabling Solutions to set-up and manage school timetables
- Proficiency in SQL scripting and familiarity with tools such as GitHub, ADO, and Azure
- Demonstrated ability to meet project objectives as per agreed timelines
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a knack for engaging with customers at all levels
