About Slingshot

Slingshot is the creative media agency that slingshots brands and people further, faster. We achieve this through Unconventional Intelligence (UI)—our unique approach to finding different and better ways of solving challenges. By connecting the unconnected, we unlock growth opportunities for our clients and ourselves. Our mission is "the pursuit of growth through different or better."

Recognised as one of the Top 20 Best Places to Work for four consecutive years, Slingshot is built on a culture of Empathy, guided by three behaviours: We Invest, We Are Candid, and We Uncomplicate. We’re driven by the pursuit of growth through different and better ways of thinking, making a tangible difference for our clients and team.

The Role

As a Media Client Executive, you will play a critical role in turning strategy into action. You will support the delivery of campaigns from planning through to activation, working closely with Business Managers and Associate Business Directors to ensure work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and to a high standard.

This role sits at the heart of execution. You will be involved in implementation planning, campaign activation, financial administration, and reporting, with exposure across both digital and offline channels. You will work on a manageable patch of clients and be trusted with responsibility early, gaining hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of a campaign.

You Will:

  • Support day-to-day implementation planning across digital and offline campaigns.

  • Turn strategy into clear, practical implementation recommendations.

  • Brief media partners, assess responses, and contribute to client-ready plans.

  • Manage campaign activation, including materials, assets, and timelines.

  • Assist with media invoicing, budget tracking, reconciliations, and campaign close.

  • Work closely with Business Managers and Associate Business Directors to deliver campaigns on time.

  • Support reporting, analysis, and the application of campaign learnings.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth delivery.

This Role Is for You If:

  • You have at least 18 months’ experience in a media agency or client-facing media role.

  • You are keen to build strong foundations across media planning and activation.

  • You enjoy detail, structure, and understanding how campaigns come to life.

  • You are organised, proactive, and motivated to take on responsibility early in your career.

This Role Isn’t For You If:

  • You prefer a highly structured environment with multiple layers of management.

  • You are not comfortable with being a very hands-on practitioner and expect to primarily delegate tasks.

  • You are not motivated to find new or different ways of doing things.

What’s in It for You:

Career Growth: Clear progression into Senior Executive and Business Manager roles.

Collaboration: Work in a highly supportive, innovative team focused on growth and best practices.

Innovation Culture: Leverage Unconventional Intelligence to craft cutting-edge campaigns.

Industry Recognition: Be part of an agency named one of the Top 20 Best Places to Work for four consecutive years.

Professional Development: Gain ongoing training and certifications across digital and media disciplines.

The Interview Process

Fulcrum is the embedded talent partner for Slingshot. Your recruitment journey will be managed by their specialist team, guiding you every step of the way.

  • Phone Screening: A brief initial call with a Fulcrum Talent Partner to assess your fit for the role.

  • First Interview: An in-depth discussion about your skills, experience, and alignment with our company values.

  • Benchmark Assessment: An evaluation designed to measure your alignment with the critical success attributes required for the role.

  • Final Interview: A comprehensive conversation with senior leadership to explore your potential contributions to our team.

  • Offer: Upon successful reference checks, a formal offer will be extended.

Diversity and Inclusion

Slingshot values diversity and believes that unique perspectives drive innovation. We encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds, including those who may not meet every listed requirement.
