Job Summary

The Implementation Resource Manager will oversee the allocation, utilization, and development of Implementation personnel and resources. This role is critical in ensuring that delivery projects are staffed effectively, resources are optimized, and business objectives are met on time and within budget.


Requirements

Essential Functions

  • Resource Planning & Allocation:
    • Manage the assignment of implementation team members to projects based on skill sets, availability, and project requirements.
    • Maintain a real-time view of resource capacity and forecast future needs.
    • Identify and resolve delivery resource conflicts or bottlenecks
    •  Workforce Management:
    • Collaborate with HR and department leads to recruit, onboard, and retain implementation team members.
    • Monitor performance and support professional development of implementation team members
  • Reporting & Analytics:
    • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports on resource utilization, productivity, and capacity planning.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Implement best practices in resource management and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Support the adoption of tools and systems for resource tracking and planning.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT resource or project management.
  • Experience leading technical teams
  • Strong understanding of IT roles, skills, and technologies.
  • Proficiency in resource management tools (e.g., Rocket Lane, MS Project, ServiceNow, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • PMP, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus.
