We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Electronics Australia as our Inbound Demand Planner in the Spare Parts team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage demand forecast models for spare parts, ensuring accurate demand planning and timely delivery to warehouses.

  • Prepare inventory strategies for existing and new spare parts, including phase-out and source changes, while coordinating with global counterparts, suppliers and vendors.

  • Conduct scenario modeling and analytics using big data to support effective decision-making and refine demand forecasts.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reconcile forecast variances and adjust plans based on updated repair and sales assumptions.

  • Develop contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies to optimize stock levels in response to unexpected sales fluctuations.

  • Coordinate and ensure efficient delivery of spare parts to service partners

  • Monitor supplier delivery performance, prepare delivery reports, and ensure compliance with Samsung standards while resolving issues proactively.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in demand and supply planning

  • Strong forecasting and inventory management skills

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse large datasets and translating them into insights

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
